THE SYDENHAM DISASTER
SYDNEY, February 26,
The inquest concerning the Sydenham accident was resumed to-day. The inspector gave evidence that the end of a rail at the joint was a quarter to three-eighths of aninchlownearthe place where the engine left the line, but he did not consider it dangerous. Other evidence went to show that the line and engine were in-good order and that the train was travelling at the usual rate.
