NORTHERN S.S. CO.'S MOVEMENTS.
Wednesday.* Ngapuhi for New Plymouth, 4 p.m.; Wellington for Whangarei, 8 p.m.; Chelmsford from Wtangapoua and Port Charles.
The schooner Brothers leaves Awanui for Auckland to-night. The s.s. Ventura is expected to arrive from San Francisco, via ports, on Monday or Tuesday next. The barque Craignair sailed this morning for New Caledonia, to load ore at Tchio for Philadelphia. % >Tha Melanesian yacht Southern Cross leaves for a cruise round the Islands on March 25. She comes up to the wharf on Monday to load steerage. The s.s. Rimutaka shifted over to the Railway Wharf this afternoon to take in frozen meat for London, and will sail for Wellington to-morrovr. The s.s. Taieri will complete the discharge of her cargo Into the Abarenda to-morrow and will be docked for cleaning and painting at about noon. The Tyser s.s. Star of Australia, from N. York, via Melbourne and Sydney, leaves the latter port to-morrow for Auckland, and is due on Monday next. Messrs T. and S. Morrin are the local Inward agents, and the vessel will be loaded for London under the auspices of Messrs Heather, Robertoh and Co.
