"What Happened to Jones" will be produced at the Opera House this evening for (he last time, it has had an exceedingly successful run, and Mr Charles Arnold may well feel gratified at the big houses he has had nightly. The performance last night was an exceedingly clever aud intensely amusing one, ami was witnessed by a crowded house. To-morrow night the farcecouiedy "Why Smith Left Home" will be produced.' "Why Smith Left Homo" is said to be a screamingly funny farce-comedy. The author is Broadhurst, who wrote "What Happened to Jones," and those who saw that laughable creation may therefore look forward with confidence to the new piece, which is certain to afford them great amusement. "Why Smith Left Home" was played for 300 nights at the Strand Theatre, London, and a very successful run may be expected for it here. The play deals with tiie troubles of a newly-wedded couple, whose honeymoon is disturbed in a variety of ways. There is an eager demand for seats for the opening performance.
