The imports of New South Wales last year totalled £27,561,000, an increase of £1,967,000, and exports £~8,104,000, a decrease of £281,000 compared with the previous year. Imports from other colonies totalled £10,164,000, New Zealand supplying £1,348,000. Exports to other colonies totalled £9,979,000, New Zealand taking £827,000. Imports from tho United Kingdom totalled £9,923,000, and exports thereto £8,273,000. Imports to foreign countries were £5,120,000, and exports thither £7,597,000. The export; of gold was £ 1,003,000.
