WAIHI, this day. , Five men have been dismissed from, (he Waikino battery. Their names, are Cashen, WilsOn, Bullock, Humphreys and Jenkins, A notice has been'posted here by the Union, asking- '' miners not to sign a paper sent round by the company binding men to worki'or the usual scales of wages, but to refer to the Union Committee. The .Minister for Mines, member for, the. district, will be communicated with,, tlie opinion being that Government, will not permit injustice or coerciou to exist. ' .
