VICTORIA V. MANAWATU.

PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday. The polo match, Victoria v. Manawatu, was played to-day in splendid weather. There was a large attendance,, and the game was fast and well contested. It resulted in a win for Victoria by 8 gonls to 4. Manifold, Hood, Afflecta, and_Rqbartson,represented the visitors, and A. S. Baker, Abraham (2), and White Manawatu. Manifold and A. S. Baker played conspicuously throughout the game. The visitors play Oroua on Wednesday.
