At the Supreme Court to-day, before Judge Denniston. the case of the Canterbury Jockey Club v. Patterson, claim £100, for ailpjred traspass on Rlccurion racecourse last November, was commenced. Defendant, a bookmaker, was warned not to go on the course, but persisted, and, after a sculTie, got on and expressed a determination, to vindicate his right as one of the public to be present on the racecourse. The case is proceeding.
