Syndicate shares firmed up to buyers at 10d. Chelinsforils and Whangamatn Corporation shares each were wanted at '.'>/, and Crowns at 12/9. Standard stocks had more enquiry. Auckland Gas shares were a shilling" better, £13 9/ bein»- offered. N.Z. Accident shares also finned to buyers at 29/. Other lines had demand at late rates.
