Lord Roberts, acknowledging a letter and pamphlet sent him by Mr. P. Jeune, of Coromandel. entitled, "The Empire's Dead," a memoriam sermon preached by the Rev. A. Mitchell in connection with the memoriam services at Coromandel for the British soldiers slain in South Africa, expresses his most sincere thanks to the preacher and sender. Further cdples of this very excellent pamphlet may be had from Mr, F. Jeune, Coromandel, or from booksellers.
