The second clay of the Poverty liay. Turf Club's meeting took place to-day. There was a large attendance. T,he following were the results:— Stewards' Handicap.-En Hakkore 1, Moonraker 2, Warwick 3. Also ran: Wilson and Mongonui. Won by a lengtn. Dividend, £2 1/. Time, 1.31 2-5. Second Handicap Hurdles.— Hairtrlgger 1, Cronje 2, Pistol Grip 3. Also ran: Contrablne and Albion. Won with ease by three lengths. Dividend, £1 15/. Time, 257 Vlat Handicap.-Geologist 1, Weaver 2, Blue Moon 3. Also started: Corydon, Te Mori, and Hinetapuariko. Won by a length. Dividend, £3 12/. Time, 1.32 1-5. Sunderland Stakes.-Lady Raven 1. Heiress 2, Bonnie d'Eau 3. Also started: Donovan, Wilson and Moonraker. Won by a head. Dividend, £3 13/. Time, 1.44 4-5. A protest for alleged Inconsistent running was dismissed. Roseland Handicap.-Ahiti 1, Pistol Grip 2, Haati Puru 3. Also ran: Mukurau, Red Rose. Bell Wether. Miss Shot, and Patu. Dividend, £8 15/. Time, 1.18. Maiden Scurry.—Tuahina 1, Abu 2. Slap Jack 3. Dividend, £2 16/. Time, 1..5 2-5. Publicans1 Purse.-Warwick 1, Jjady Raven 2, Mongonui 3. Dividend, £2 3/.
