SLY GROG SELLING.
ANOTHER. KINO COUXTIJY RAID. Xews was received to-day by telegraph that a raid was made by the King- Country police this morning oil John Ormsby's premises at Otorohsingn, and that about eight dozen bottles of brandy, a five-gallon jar of whisky, and a. number of bottles of schnapps and port wine were seized. The police who made the raid were Constables Lowry and McPb.ee, and the King Country constables. An information has been laid against Ormsby for having the liquor, the King- Country being a ]J#ohibited district, and the prosecution will take place at Te Awamutu shortly.
