SENSATION IN A TOWNSHIP.

The little township of Tooloon (Vie), says the "Melbourne Sportsman," has been thrown into a state of considerable excitement by a sensation, the innocent cause of which is a young man, resident in the town-

ship. . It appears from particulars obtained by the reporter despatched to investigate the matter, that the excitement is not an evcry-day one. "It is true," said William Frederick Byrnes, when interviewed, "that I have provided the township with a sensation. It was this way. About two years ago I found myself unable to carry on rabbit-trapping and shooting, owing to an affection of the right hip and galloping consumption of the lungs. Many doctors were consulted, but despite their skill 1 did jiot recover. At last 1 was taken to the Mcl bourne Hospital—a perfect skeleton, with a hacking cough racking my frame. The nurses thought 1 had only a few days to live. An operation was performed on my hip, but without the result hoped for, and the doctors said they could do no more for me, and that my early decease was certain. My family, expecting me to die, removed me home. A little later, some Dr. Williams' pink pills for pale people were purchased for me. In a fortnight I used three boxes, and felt considerably stronger. I continued taking the pills, and it soon became apparent I "was recovering. Eight boxes completely cured me. Now Igo about camping1 for days at a time, rabbit-trapping and shooting at will. My recovery has created a sensation throughout the district, for everyone expected I would be dead long before this."

The ravages of consumption are not incurable at every stage. Nor is every case pronounced by doctors incurable by ordinary medicine, beyond hope, if Dr. Williams' pink pills, which are not ordinary medicine, are used. They have cured many cases by replacing the lost blood, and increasing the resistant power of the lungs. By enriching the blood they also cure anaemia, debility, rheumatism, neuralgia, bronchitis, dyspepsia, etc. Sold by chemists and storekeepers, and by the Dr. Williams Medicine Company, Wellington, three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free. Substitutes are dangerous.
