In connection with the Maori Girls School, a sympathiser with the effort has made a donation of £100 to start the new fund. We are requested to state that contributions will be received by Mr. Judd, Wood-street, Ponsonby, and by Mr. W. S. Cochrane, at the Victoria Arcade. We have pleasure in complying with a request that a subscription list be opened at the "Staff Office, and any sums forwarded u& will receive due acknowledgment. ( %t is hoped that the numerous friends of the movement will shortly be organised throughout New Zealand for the promotion of the object in view. Miss Keith and Miss Edith Williams, of Hukareri, have in the meantime promised to act as general secretaries.
