SYDNEY TURF CLUB MEETING.
SYDNEY, February IG.
The Sydney Turf Club brought their summer meeting to a conclusion to-day. The following was the result of the principal event:—
The Anniversary Handicap, a handicap sweepstakes of Ssovs each for starters, with 400sovs added. For three-year-olds and upwards. One mile and a-half.— Dandy 1, Bombshell % Uncle 3. Twenty horses started. Betting: 5 to 2 against Kulaui, 5 to 1 Dandy. After occupying a position in the ruck for the greater part of the way. Dandy shot ouf below the distance, and after a great finish with Bombshell won by a head. Time, 2m 39*s.
