THE BRITISH BIOGRAPH.

The jj'iriuino British Biograph Company will begin their Walkato and Thames tour this evening at Hamilton, and exhibit to - morrow at Cambridge, Karangahake and Waihi to follow. The management take with them the complete exhibition, including electric lighting- installation, so that the show will not lack the merest detail necessary for the reproduction of the entertainment. DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY. A crowded audience assembled at the City Hall on Saturday evening, when another new and excellent programme was submitted by Mr Dixs Gaiety Company. Ferry, "The Human Frog," gave a. marvellously clever performance, and he was very warmly applauded. Mr Frtink Clark. Mr James Forrest, Mr Joe Cowan and the other vocalists had very flattering receptions and sang exceedingly well. Miss Eileen Boyd was very successful in "My Tea Party." Misses Olive Lenton and Ida Clarkson also scored high successes, and, like the others, were encored. Frank Clark,- as "The Coloured Major," was exceedingly amusing and clever. This very successful performance will be repeated this evening. The last six nights of Ferry, "The Human Frog," are announced. IRON CAP. The manager of the Iro-j Cap Company has now delivered 45 tons of ere at the New Alburnia battery, which will be treated in due course. The reef is looking well and the prospects of the mine are encouraging. FOUR-ENT-HAND. Very satisfactory reports are received regarding developments in. the New Four-in-Hand mine. The reef has widened out to six feet. The whole of this carries gold, and some of the stone is very rich, forty pounds of it, when treated seperately, having yielded .-£ 290.
