Passengers from Kingstown across Lake Wakatipu were reminded of the widespread sorrow over the death OQueen Victoria by hearipg thte strains of the "Dead March" in "Saul" as they | approached Queenstown wharf. Thp 1 news here caused feelings of profound I regret, and some arranged festivities I were postponed- The band paraded Ithe streets playing the "Dead March," Ithe sad music sounding most impres--1 sive in these lovely Otago mountains.
