Horses: On Friday, at the Durham Yards, a large number were brought forward, and all sorts were eagerly competed for. During the week we sold the heavy draught stallion Better Times, privately, for £205 guineas. The baker's cart advertised made £17; roadster, £S; springE cart, £13. Cattle: At the Newmarket Yards, on Tuesday, dairy cows were penned in fulls numbers and sold at improved rates; fat j stock were yarded in more than averajre | numbers, and sold at fully last week's! values. Oxen brought from 21/ to 24/ per lOOlbs: cows, 17/ to 20/ Fat steers! Bold at frOm £0 to £10 7/6; cows, £3 15/! to £7 12/6. Dairy cows brought from £4 ■ 6/ to £7 7/6: store do.. £2 11/ to £3 14/.
