AUCKLAND, Wednesday.
The kauri gum market remains quiet and quotations are only nominal. Most likely no boat will load gum for America before the Hiram Emery arrives next month. Supplies of gum for the month to date total 432 tons. Quotations are nominally as .follow: — Poor ordinary £35 to £42 Fair ordinary £45 to £50 Good ordinary £52 to £62 Superior ordinary £70 to £80 East Coast £75 upwards
