The annual meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board, called for noon to-day, was adjourned until the audit certificate has been received from the Audit-or-General, Wellington. Colonel Hume, Inspector of Prisons, left by steamer this afternoon from Onehunga, en route for Wellington. Arrangements are well in progress for transferring the necessary number of prisoners to the W'aiotahu Valley to make a start at first planting. £60,000 worth of general drapery, carpets, linoleums and furniutre.
