DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.

Mr P. R. Dixs Gaiety Company enttt-r ed upon its 95th week at the City Hall on Saturday evening, when a crowded audience witnessed the performance., Mr James C. Bain made his ffnal appearance and was as well received as ever. Little Eileen Boyd, as usual, delighted her' audience, and the turns contributed "by Frank Clark, Miss Olive Lenton, the Linwood Sisters and numerous, others made up a capital programme. A bumper house is expected at the City Hall this evening, when Ferry, "the human frog," makes his first appearance in New Zealand. Ferry has for months past been the star attraction at Rickard a variety theatres in Australia, and has the reputation of betas a- marvellous acrobat and contortionist. His o.uaint make-up and his' wonderful feats serve to make his "turn" one of the most original ever put on the vaudeville stage.
