Miss Nance O'Neil concluded a- most successful season last evening1, when "Elizabeth" was reproduced before a very large audience. The Crane-Power Company open at the Opera House on Monday night in "The King's Musketeer," an adaptation of Dumas' thrilling- novel, "The Three Musketeers." The story centres in the career of that swaggering' blade D'Artagnan, who, by means of his good sword, wins love, fame and fortune, but other important factors are the astute llichelieu, the Queen he seeks to ruin and' the King he virtually rules. D'Artagnau's comrades are .also prominent figures, while innumerable other ' chai'acters are introduced to develop the story and add to the general effect.

A new programme will be presented this evening at the City Hall, when Mr James Bain will make his last appearance. On Monday, Ferry, "the Human Frog," who has a great reputation in Australia as a contortionist, will make his first appearance in New Zealand. There will be a change of programme at the Agricultural Hall this evening. Two new artists will appear. Whitehouse's Kineniatograph entertainment was repeated at the Foresters' Hall last night. A country tour follows. Cooper and Macdermott's Kinematograph will be exhibited at the Opera House to-night, when the Auckland members of the Sixth Contingent are expected to be present.
