Mr McGowan at 4 p.m. yesterday visited Fort Cautley prison and com? plimented Mr Severne upon the faP*. that of all the 170 prisoners not on| had complained regarding treatmep received from officials. Mr MeGowWj: also visited the new Police BarracP in O'Rorke-street yesterday afternoon The Hon. Mr Duncan, Minister JW' Lands, purposes visiting AucklaW within the next six weeks. ■ H
