THE WEATHER.
The splendid rain which we received at tlie beginning of this week has ag-ain freshened everything. I think this "has been one of the best seasons we have Ind for many years. We have had a succession of moist weather, which has kept the soil in such a state that vegetaticn'of ah classes has not as yet received a check. On places which have to be kept tidy, however, the labour has increased manifold consequent on the excessive growth.
