yesterday afternoon and in 1 eveningl M. Bafalewsld, assisted Miss Lili Sharp, gave recitals en i grand organ in the Choral Hall, a gave great satisfaction to enthusias audiences. Particular mention ihJ be fnade of the magnificent interp tation of Bach's fugue on St. Am tune and the beautiful. prelude £ fugue in "D." The technique on b pedals arid manuals in this work •( wonderful in its rapidity and cle ness \of phrasing. Miss' Lili Shj sang the celebrated prayer fr Wagner's "Tannhauser" with gr fervour, and her singing of Hayd "With Verdure Clad" was also gre ly admired by everyone.
