ROAD BOARD NOTICES. •p.DEN TERRACE ROAD DISTRICT. INTENTION OF BOARD TO RAISE A LOAN OF £3000 TO VItOVIDE A COMPLETE SYSTEM OF DRAINAGE FOR THE EDEN TERRACE ROAD DISTRICT. It is hereby publicly notified that the Eden Terrace Road Board intend to construct a complete system of Drainage for the Eden Terrace Road District (Plans of the proposed public work can be seen: at the Eden Terrace Public Hall, during office hours), and for this purpose they propose to borrow the sum or £3000, repayment of which it is proposed to secur» by a special rate of 11-40ths of a penny j in the £ on all rateable property in the, Eden Terrace Road District the said rate to be a recurring rate for a period of thirty-two years; the aforesaid loan being obtained under Subsection 2, of Section 2, of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1599, which provides that the yearly rate of interest, and the during which the interest is payable by the Local Authority, shall be "four per centum per annum for a term of thirtytwo years."
