The Mount Edea Road Board hereby give public notice that a Contract has been entered into with Messrs Burke and Co., of Albert-street, City, for the removal of Nightsoil from every dwellinghouse or premises within the said district, except in such cases as the by-law prescribes may be exempted. Under the by-law now in force in the whole district Householders are required to avail themselves of the contractor's services, and the by-law provides that persons refusing to do so commit an offence under the by-law and against the Public Health Act, 1900, recently passed and now In force. The Board have agreed with the contractor to continue present arrangements for the night service for a limited period, or until the enamel pans can be supplied. Notices for the contractor may be left at the Board Office or posted to Burke and Co., Albert-street, Auckland. Printed copies; of the' by-law referred to may be obtained at the Board Office.
