THE HOSPITAL. The number of patients in the Thames Hospital at the end of the month was— males 23, females 5. Three deaths occurred during the month, two from cancer, one from pneumonia. Mr T. Radford has retired from the Board of Trustees of the Thames Hospital after 16 years' hard work, and in takingr leave of him the Board passed a unanimous vote of thanks for the untiring and thorough way in which he carried out his duties during that lengthy period. The secretary of the Hospital Board (Mr T. Cautley) estimates that the net proceeds of the recent bazaar would reach £450, which sum will be supplemented by the Government subsidy of 24/ in the pound.
