The contractor for the alterations to the Municipal Office., commenced work this morning, and in the meantime the Town Clerk's oflice has been remove-! to the Council room. When the work is completed in aboat three weeks tbe Town Clerk's and the Treasury Department will be adjoining one another on the first floor, thus greatly facilitating public business.
