The tracks at Randwick were in excellent order, and the course proper was opeu. Glenore badly beat Ampler (who, however, had considerably more than his Epsom Handicap weight up) over one mile, 'traversed In 1.47.. Another Interesting mile gallop took place between Tarquin and Reviver. The first half a mile was covered In C2sec, and the mile in 1.48 J. Reviver was beaten a furlong from home, Tarquin winning comfortably by three lengths. Melotlian ran a mile in L47_. A lot of others did strong work.
