CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

The Supreme Court sessions began this morning before Mr Justice Martin. The calendar includes two charges of murder against a Chinaman of killing two countrymen near Reef ton, a charge of forgery against the representative of a mining syndicate .at Charleston, and a charge of indecent assault from Reefton. His Honor gave a lengthy charge to the grand jury. W. A. Jones, charged with breaking the terms of his probation, w-i- sentenced to two years' imprisonment, His Honor believing a long term of imprisonment best for prisoner, who is evidently a confirmed dipsomaniac.
