DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.

Even standing room was at a pr.n.iutn at the City Hall last Saturday night, when the above combination of artistes presented a most attractive programme. Every item was of flrst-class quality, and the entertainment passed off with a Vim and dash that spoke volumes for Its excellence. Little Eileen Boyd, the child wonder, continues to create much enthusiasm. The Australian trio, Adson, Craydon and Holland, continue-to create endless amusement in their various turns. Miss Marie Boyton's rendering of "Oh, Promise Me" received enthusiastic applause, while Mr Tom Leonard's success as an eccentric comedian continued unabated. Professor Davy's new act with his lilllputians is Wonderfully well done, the Professor-having to bow his acknowledgements at the ehd of the act. Thj. Sisters Elmore, Miss Trixie Le Mar and Mr Arthur Hahn also received great and well deserved applause for their items. Mr Hahn is under marching orders, and his last three nights are announced. He opens with Mr Dixs Wellington combination next Saturday night. The reappearance of the.Leslie Bros, and the favourite serio-comic singers, Mabel, Maie and Rose Andrews is announced for Wednesday night next. Saturday's programme will be repeated to-night.
