AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB'S AUTUMN -MEETING.
The Avondale Jockey Club's autumn nieeiing will be brought to a conclusion to-morrow. Satisfactory acceptances wei'e received last night, and with tine weather there should be another large attendance present. The first event is timed to .start at 12.30 p.m., and special rains leave Auckland for Avondale at 11.45 a.m. and 1.10 ii.vi".
The Maiden Hurdle Race, which opens proceeding's, may be won by Forty-seven.
Thirteen are engaged in the Flying
Handicap, four furlong's. The distance will probably suit Scout, and lie may b. ::1 the opposition.
In the Pony Handicap Lena reads with winning prospects.
A field of fifteen have accepted for the Autumn Handicap, one mile. Firefly has a handy impost, but probably St. Ursula and the The Needle will fight out the finish. To separate the pail', 'my vote goes to The Needle.

In the Hack Handicap the Gisborne mare Nereid should run well. The Waitakerei Handicap may be won by Dayntrce.
