THE WHITEHALL ESTATE.
Ten applications were received yesterday at the Crown Lands Office, Auckland, for leasing portions of the Whitehall Estate, Cambridge, Waikato. This property, consisting of SOBO acres, was recently secured by the Government under the Land for Settlement Act. It is sub-divided into nine, sections, and is offered" to the public on lease in perpetuity. A ballot will be taken at the Cambridge Courthouse oil Wednesday next by Mr (x. Mueller (Commissioner) and members of the Board.
The following applications have been received: —Section 3, Block XL, comprising 1004 acres, E. W. Hall, Geo. Floyd,E. A. Lloyd, Thos. Martin, Mary Ann Ormiston. Section 2, Block VI., comprising 1011 acres, Jas. Clements, A. E. A. Wiifen. and Edward Jas. Power. Section 2, Block VII., and section 1, of Block XL, Mary Ann Ormiston. Section 14, Block X., comprising GOO acres, Jas. E. Power.
