Koln, December 15th, 1599. The New Zealand Typewriter Company, Victoria Arcade. Dear Sirs,— We furnished about a weeK ago to Queen Elizabeth of Roumania a Blickensderfer No. 7; in order to specially please Her Majesty, tfe had all the metal parts of the machine gold plated and the machine looked quite beautiful To-day we received from Her Majesty the following telegram: "Pal* ace Bukarest, December 15th, 1899.—Mess. Groyen & Richtmann, Koln.—Typewriting machine excellent; please send for Christmas another machine same kind to Queen Mother at Neuied." The satisfaction of the Quen of Rou-f mania will be of great service to us witli literary men, as Her Majesty uses the machine personally for her literary work,, and as she is a very celebrated and popular writer of poetry and novels under the name of "Carmen Sylva;" she writes lni German, French, and Roumanian, and the Roumanian keyboard of the Blickensderfer is so arranged that it writes the Ger-1 man, French, Roumanian, and English languages, so that the machine was particularly adapted for the special purposa of the Royal Poetess. Very truly yours, GROYEN & RICHTMANN. OOD HotelsTTrom £250 to £3000 for Sale. Money to Lend from £5 to £1000 on approved security—E. Whitehead, Valuator. High-st.
