NGARUAWAHIA, this day
There is a large attendance at the Regatta here. The following- tfre. the results so far: —
Maiden (Jigs, under lOst. —West End. 1; Waitemata, 2; Ngaruawahia, 3. Won by three feet after an exciting finish. North Shore gave up.
i Maiden Gigs. open.—Waitemata. 1; North Shored 2: Weal End, 3. Won easily by three lengths.
War Canoe Race. —Three large canoes started, and made a splendid race, Whawhakia winning by over a length from Papa rat n, with Kawhia third.
