THE DUNEDIN J.C. MEETING
On Wednesday next the Dune din Jockey Club make a start with their Autumn Meeting at Wingutui, The Cup, of oOOsovs, one and a. half mile, (has secured the following acceptors: Tortulla, 5.12; Jupiter, 8.8; DjinDjin, 8.7; Advance, 8.7; Sant Ilario, 8.1;- Strathnairn, 7.13; Fulmen, 7.12; Paladin, 7.7. On his Wang-anui form Advance must have capital prospects, and he may be expected to run a good race for first honours. Djin-Djin will comprise one of the field, but he has a good increase in poundage eoinpared°with last year, when he won with 7.2. I have' a " good deal of regard far Sant Ilario, though he is a maiden, for it is safe to predict that he •will strip an improved colt. It remains to be seen if Advance can beat him at tine difference of weights. Blazer has a stiff impost in 10.4 in the Publicans' Handicap, seven fur* longs, and perhaps Brisa may win.
