The North island Brass Bands' Association represents IS bands and in in an excellent financial position. The Women's Social Political League is urgingl the City Council to erect hot baths and salt waiter baths in a central position. The send off of the Fourth Contingeii't to-morrow will be merely of a formal ciharaeter. The . volunteers! will parade and line the'approaches ■to the wharf. The bands will play the column to the steamer. Trawling1 operations have resulted in a catch of four tons of rock cod and do»- fish:
