o • The Ohineniuri Jockey Club hold the first day's racing of their autumn, meeting to-morrow at Paeroa. No doubt a good number of Aucklanders will journey down by steamer to-night or by rail. The Club have made com-' plete arrangements for a successful gathering-. To-morrow the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club make a start with their autumn meeting. Six are left in the Cup of | SOOsovs, 1J mile, viz., Coronet 9.8, Tire 7.0, Will-o'-the-wisp 7.7, Skobeloff 7.7, Korematuku 7.5. Terneraire 6.7. Tii'e has done some very good work at Hastings of late, and he must prove dangerous. Rkobeloll! should also run well under his nice impost of 7.7. Coronet, however, is the best proved of the lot, and it may be that he will supply the winner.
