WELLINGTON, Wednesday
The Government has practically completed arrangements for the dcpurture of the Fifth Contingent. The Xew Zealand Shipping- Company's .fine steamer Wahnate has been ; chartered to convey ;t portion, and she will probably take something- like 11!00 men and about Hie same number of horses. Another vessel, now in Australia, said to be the Tovoa, is also under charter, find site will take the balance. TJie Waimute, so far as ! present arrangements go, will leave I here for South Africa on March 31.
