HALF-YEARLY JIEJSTING

The ordinary half-yearly meeting of the Thames Gas Company, Limited, was held on February 37 at the rooms of the secretary, Mr F. A. White, Queen-street. Mr C. B. Stone, chairman of directors, presided. The "following was the statement of accounts presented:—

Working Account for the half-year ending 31st January, 1900.-Dr.: To coals and shale, £360 4/5; stokers' wages, £156 10/; renewals and wear and tear, £239 13/5 • salaries. £225; honorarium, £50; auditor £5 5/; income tax, £fis; license fee; £T> 10/; rates, £53 6/1; rent, £13; travelling" £8; printing and advertising, stationery sundries, £38 18/2; to balance, £444 8/6 Total, £1672 1/7.
