£5176 FROM 2800 TONS. A larger quantity of ore was treated during the past month at the N.Z. Crown Mines' battery, with the result that the output of bullion this time shows proportionate increase. During- the month of February the total quantity treated was 2800 tons, which yielded bullion worth £5176. The detailed returns are as follows: — Bullion won before 1895.. £138,101 In IS9S £ 52,02-1. In 1899 £71,636 In 1900, to February £10,020 Total to date £721,790
