The Presbyterian Assembly's report showed the revenue of the aged and infirm ministers' fund stood at £575 18/i>, and the expenditure £X'os 8/4, leaving a balance oi: £256 10/4. The balance from last year, added to this, leaves £352 IT/11 to be added to the capital, which now stands at £4663 10/5. The widows' and orphans' fund report showed the revenue to be £5-49 0/9, and the expenditure £252 4/7, leaving a balance of £266 16/2. This, with the balance from last year of £406 6/9, has been added to the capital, which now stands at £6515 1/4. To this sum £960 has to be added from the Plampin Trust, making the capital in all £7475 1/4. Dr. Sidey presented the report of the Examination Board. The Assembly, in adopting the report, decided that divinity students should be required to attend the Divinity Hall in Otago for at least a part of the curriculum. The Sabbath School report was satisfactory; 1052 candidates came forward, and 1813 papers were sent in, an increase of 176 scholars had 2SB papers. Over 1000 papers earned first-class marks, and 131 gained 100 per cent.
