mHE PNEUMATIC HJSEL AND SOI-E I .1 COMPANY (XJMITEJD). ; The following opinion with regard to the above Patent, given by Mr Colesi, of the firm of G. A. Coles & Co., Boot Manufacturers and importers, Kajiai Boot. Factory, Eden Terrace, is worthy of notice; and as Mr Coles is the President of the Auckland Boot Manufacturers' Association, his view.s with regard fo this patent should carry more than ordinary weight. He writes:—"l have examined and tried the pneumatic heel for Boots and Shoes, and feel satisfied that it will supply a long felt want, by breaking the severe concussion when the heel first strikes the ground. Its simplicity, cheapness, and comfort combined are very.marked, and 1 have no hesitation whatever in saying that it will bs appreciated very largely, more especially in large centres. 1 can see no difficulty whatever in applying this heel to either old or new Boots, and 1 must congratulate you on 'striking' what 1 believe to be a first class invention. The above Is my opinion, as a manufacturer of 2711 years' standing, and if of any value to: you you can make what use you think | tit of it." Unquestionably if this '•Pneumatic Heel" "catches on," owing to the; innumerable millions of boots annually i worn, however small Ihe royalty demand-! i-d may be, the profits to the Sharehold-; era would-far and away eclipse the returns from the wealthiest gold mine ever! yet discovered. It is out of small every-] day required patents of this nature that huge fortunes are made, and when it Is i remembered that the Dunlop Tyre Patent! was floated for five and a half millions j sterling, and that probably from two j to three thousand pairs of boots are daily j purchased in proportion to every single j Dunlop Bicycle Tyre sold, why should not j this patent be as valuable as the Tyre; Patent in question? As there are only| a very few Shares now left for Sale, any j person desirous of investing- a small j amount ofmoney, with the chances of! making a very handsome return within j the next few months' time, should see the patentee, MR LINGARD, at once, at the Central Hotel. . rrRADE "BISMARK" TV/rARiC, Hancock & Co.* 9 Have Pleasure in informing: the PubJio that their Linger Beer T3REWERY 15 (The First in the Colony) Is completed, and they are r.ow In a position to supply the Finest Luger Been i * ■< SUPERIOR TO THE IMPORTED ! ARTICLE. /-IAPTAIN QOOK "jgREWERY, NEWMARKET.
