Wind: Moderate from the eastward at places northward of Thames. Manukau. -i it! fro-n the westward thence south to KapieV and Ne-%v Plymouth; strong wesmovement northwardof Napier and New Plymouth: fall at all other places,- but rising- again after 12 to 10 hours. Sea- Moderate on both coasts. Tides: Generally moderate but.increasing on East Coast south of Kaikoura. Synopsis of the last 24 hours: Very little chan-re in pressure northward of Kaikoura ami Hokitika.but pressure has decreasWill pass eastward o£ the meridian of South Cape ate to-nteht but probably further south than isuaY Low pressure from west will also SSs from the same direction on the 19th, Sh date is very close to the equinox.
