BOARD OF EDUCATION ELECTION.

The annual election of three members of the Board.of Education took place this morning. Voting papers had been issued to 270 school committees, and 21h votes were recorded. One-voting paper from Maungakavaniea bore evidence oii having been posted after the time fixed oy the Act, and was rejected. From 51 school districts no voting paper was received. The papers were opened in the presence of Air 11. Hobos (chairman) and members of the Board, the result being as follows: — ' ; ~.-■ ■ Votes. ; Wm. Lambe (Papatoetoe) 125 i John D.
