WADE, this day. :: The weather is splendid fo.r the "an- 1 ; nual show opened here to-day. There .; is a large, attendance from surround- ; ing- districts, including visitors from - 'town. The exhibits awe neither so " numerous nor fine as usual owing to ":• drought, which .has especially affected :': the fruit and vegetable exhibits. Horse and cattle exhibits are scanty,! but the fruit exhibits, etc., though few, ■ are go.'od. Among those present is -'; Mr R. Monk, M.H.R. for Waitemata.
