MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Eight. lion: the Premier and the Hon. J. G. Ward left the Manukau for Welling-ton last night in the s.s. Hinemoa. Mr Ward intends residing in Welling-ton.. for the future, and is bringing, his family there. He will occupy the Ministerial residence in Tinakori Road formerly occupied by Sir Julius Vogcl. During' the Hon. Ward's stay here he made a most favourable impression, and those who came in contact with him were struck with his marked ability and businesslike, ways

The Hon. J. G- Ward will remain a day or two in Wang'anui, en route to Wellington. The Hon. J. McKenzie returned to Wellington yesterday and was busily engaged at his office to-day.
