DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.
The City Hall was crowded to the doors last evening, when the new artists imported i>y Mr P. It. Dix, vis?., Messrs Lennon, Hyman and Lennon, made their first appearance. The team referred to in their act "The Demons and the Frog" may be well termed marvellous, their contortions and back and forward somersaults never havingbeen excelled, if equalled, jn this city. These performers received a perfect ovation from the audience as they retired from the stage, and they were compelled to repeat a portion of their really wonderful exhibition. The Lennon Eros., in the lirst part of the programme, gave a very neat and clever double song and dance, which was vociferously applauded. The Williams Sisters were, as usual, most cordially received, as was also Air Frank Yorke and Miss Annetta liodin, and the oilier performers. The patriotic chorus and tableau, "Britannia," quite brought down the house. The programme will be repeated to-njgiht.
