At the Warden's Court this morning before Mr E. S. Bush, the following applications were heard: —
Granted.-ChelßQsford G.M. Co. water race, Tairua; Francis Gerraty and J. W. Ryan, permission to work Masr ■cotte special claim, Hape Creek, Thames, with four men for four months; Tairua Broken Hills G.M. Co., permission, to work Broken Hills Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 5 claims, Tairua, with three men each for six months; Barrier Reefs G.M. Co., six months protection for Whangapara, 5 q c, Great Barrier Island; William Woodward, five months protection for Record Reign claim, Tara.ru; W. D. Tilsley, extension of time by six months for construction iof water race, Omahu; John Collins, five months protection, for Essex •claim, Neavesville; Golden Belt G.M. Co., application for surrender of Venus claim, and exchange of title for Golden Arrow, and Golden Belt, licensed holdings, Neavesville, for the purpiose of amalgamating same under one license, such amalgamated area to be called Golden Belt, granted, surrender of Venus to stand over until recoinnien■dation of Minister for ,Mines be received ; John Bane, New Domino claim, Kirikiri, recommended.
