SHARE-MARKET,
N.Z. Ci'own shares were wanted again on the Exchange to-day at 13/3, and Talismans at .12/0, but no saleswere reported. Buyers came in for Grand Junctions at 33/, but holders asked 38/. May Queens were easier, and 2/ was the best offer for Tairua Broken Hills. The only transaction reported was Imperials at 3d. In Standard lines South British Insurance were wanted at 54/, Auckland Gas (new issue) at £9 17/6, and D.S.C. shares at 10/6. The Exchange closed at noon in honour of the departure of the Rough Eiders.
